this starfighter design was created by the Twi'leki race, and was named after the spore of a parasitic fungus. They are just as lethal as the deathseed spore they are named for. Hyperdrive-equipped and powered by twin ion engines at sublight speeds, the Chir'daki have maneuverable wings powered by small S-foils. They are armed with quad laser cannons, but proton torpedoes were optional because of their shortage during the early years of the New Republic.
