Chedak Communications
although Chedak was best known for its shipboard subspace radios, it also produced personal comlinks and holoprojectors for a wide range of applications. Chedak made a fortune by selling communications equipment to the entertainment industry, but floundered when the New Order was instituted and the Empire clamped down on the media. Rather than accept defeat, Chedak's leadership branched out into the field of news reporting, covering the front lines of battlefields during the early years of the New Republic.
