this was a form of aquatic armor developed for use by the Grand Army of the Republic, during the height of the Clone Wars. Each black depthsuit was made from a flexible material that provided a clone trooper with protection against the intense pressures and temperature changes encountered underwater, allowing them to gain access to a remote location by moving through deep water to avoid detection.
