Koru Act
this was one of the many laws created by the Old Republic to ensure the safety of the members of the Galactic Senate. In circumstances of grave need, the Koru Law could be invoked to requisition funds from a Senator's account to cover the expenses of ensuring their security. A law officer invoking the act could use the funds to immediately acquire additional security measures to protect the Senator.
