this huge, slab-shaped machine was produced by Loronar Corporation during the years leading up to the Yuuzhan Vong invasion of the galaxy. The SRD was developed to turn large quantities of raw materials into droids, without the need for dedicated manufacturing floorspace for multiple tools and equipment.
