once an officer in the Repean military, Colonel Tyrus served as second-in-command of the Crimson Aces defense fleet. When the Empire destroyed the original Crimson Aces, Tyrus fled into the Cron Drift, where he eventually met up with his commanding officer, Gikkin, and rebuilt the Crimson Aces as a mercenary unit. Tyrus assumed command of the Crimson Aces after Gikkin's death.
