this eighty-meter-long, predatory worm lived in the heart of a cluster of Trindellian oak trees, on the moon of Trindello. Generally nocturnal, the kargul lived in lairs that were hidden inside the main root of the Trindellian oaks. When disturbed, the kargul worms attacked with ferocious bites, and were known to kill entire teams of loggers in swift order.
