Helm
this independent prospector and his partner, Vandel, were the first beings to discover the planet Vandelhelm, which was eventually named in their honor. They were able to penetrate the vast cloud of asteroids that surrounded the planet some 3,000 years before the Galactic Civil War, and found that the planet was incredibly rich in metals and ores. They decided to make their claim with the Old Republic before relocating their families to the planet, where they served as the founding members of the Metalsmiths' Guild. Over the millennia, the Vandel and Helm families were regarded as royalty on Vandelhelm.
