Gizka
this fish was prized among the Selkath as a source of meat. Many xenobiologists believed that the gizka found on Manaan was a placid descendant of a more vicious creature that originated on the Unknown World of the Rakata. This gizka, which appeared from 4,000 years before the Galactic Civil War, was known for its rapid rate of reproduction, producing a new generation every few days. These gizkas were a nuisance to electrical systems, and could only be eliminated by using a specialized poison. This poison made the gizkas rabid, causing them to attack and kill other gizkas before expiring.
