United Tribes of Kariek
this was the name of the bipartisan government established by the Eickarie and the Lakra, on their homeworld of Kariek, during the years leading up to the Yuuzhan Vong invasion of the galaxy. The leaders of each race decided to form the United Tribes of Kariek after centuries of near-constant civil war, but their control over Kariek was opposed by the Warlord. The set of treaties and alliancess that formed the UTK were known as the United Tribes Agreements. The UTK was forced to ask the Imperial Remnant for assistance in defeating the Warlord, but were unhappy that the Imperials kept the Warlord alive for questioning, rather than turning him over to the UTK for trial and execution.
