this man was a scientist, working for the Empire during the height of the New Order. He was Dusque Mistflier's superior, and did his best to make sure she remained in the lowest positions possible, despite the fact that she was smarter and better able to discover things than he was. Many of those who worked for Willel believed that he feared Dusque's competence rather than despised it.
