this older Corellian Engineering Corporation frigate was, in many respects, the predecessor to the Corellian Gunship. The ship was lightly armed, but the CC-7700 was not meant to be a battle ship. Instead, it was designed to be a platform for a gravity well projector, with a mission profile similar to the Imperial Interdictor cruiser.
