Yncha
this huge, slug-like creature was bio-engineered by the Yuuzhan Vong as a form of orbital attack creature. Comparable in size to an immense space slug, the yncha had a wedge-shaped head that was dominated by an eighty-meter-wide mouth. A pouch was located on its back. The mission of the yncha was to literally consume space stations and orbital facilities, removing them as first lines of defense for planets that the Yuuzhan Vong wanted to conquer. The creature first disabled a station's shields by consuming the energy that powered them. Then, using its wide mouth, the yncha took pieces of the station in its mouth and crushed them. Often, small landing craft were affixed to the hide of the yncha, allowing Yuuzhan Vong warriors to quickly enter the station and eliminate any opposition.
