Pulse-gravity Interdiction Mine
developed by the Hapan peoples during the early stages of the Yuuzhan Vong invasion of the galaxy, and provided to the Galactic Alliance shortly after the Battle of Ebaq, these mines resembled simple asteroids floating in the void of space. However, they generated an artificial gravity shadow into hyperspace. The gravity shadows of a cluster of these mines caused starship hyperdrives and navigational computers to suddenly revert back to realspace, where they were trapped behind the interdiction fields. Any starship which tried to escape the field often ran into the mines, which exploded with deadly force and severely damaged most ships.
