this planet, orbited by a single moon, was captured by the Yuuzhan Vong during their invasion of the galaxy. A hot world, Selvaris orbited Centis Major and Renaant, the twin suns of the Tantara system, which continually bathed the planet in oppressive heat and humidity. The aquamarine oceans of Selvaris teemed with life, providing shellfish and fish for food. Its forests and jungles were also bountiful, providing many forms of fruits and vegetables. After the Battle of Coruscant, Selvaris was converted into a prison world, with a number of camps scattered across its landmasses. It was here that the prisoners captured during the Galactic Alliance's Operation Trinity at Bilbringi were taken for incarceration, until they could be sacrificed in a massive ceremony meant to solidify the Yuuzhan Vong's supremacy in the galaxy. It was from Selvaris that Han Solo and his wife, Leia Organa Solo, rescued the Jenet soldier Thorsh, who carried an important collection of mathematics codes in his head.
