Imagecaster
this small device, produced by SoroSuub during the last decades of the Old Republic, was a handheld holographic projection unit. A disk-shaped device with three curved projector arms, the Imagecaster was only capable of displaying images. It could not send or receive transmissions, but had to be connected to another transmission device or data source in order to obtain its images. The Imagecaster could hold up to 100 minutes' worth of images, or it could be connected to two comlinks to allow for near-real-time face-to-face communication.
