this was the brand name of Gandorthral Atmospherics' basic breathing mask. It was unusual among similar devices in that its complex scrubber system never needed to be replaced, just recharged. However, the Oxidizer required that the wearer be in an atmosphere that had moderate levels of oxygen which could be extracted. Thus, it was not effective in the vacuum of space.
