this flower, once native to the Yuuzhan Vong homeworld of Yuuzhan'tar, was bio-engineered to serve as a perimeter defense when the alien's captured the planet Coruscant from the New Republic. The blister flower produced a pleasant smell that lured in unsuspecting individuals. If touched, however, the blister flower released a potent chemical which caused unprotected skin to blister and bubble almost immediately.
