this Yuuzhan Vong was once a member of the warrior caste, until he was marked as a Shamed One and left on the planet Coruscant. After hearing the words of the Prophet, Yu'shaa, Hul Qat came to believe that the Jedi weren't the enemies that Supreme Overlord Shimrra had described. Hul Qat was one of the first of the Shamed Ones to volunteer to flee Coruscant and search out the living planet which would help liberate the Shamed Ones. Hul Qat managed to reach the planet Dagobah, which teemed with life but was not alive in and of itself. On Dagobah, Hul Qat met up with Tahiri Veila, but was also pursued by a group of Yuuzhan Vong warriors. He managed to escape the warriors with Tahiri's help, but he was badly wounded. With his dying breaths, Hul Qat asked if he had, in fact, found the living planet. Tahiri didn't believe so, but she told him that he had succeeded. Hul Qat asked Tahiri to return to the Prophet to let him know of the planet's existence, and then died. Tahiri realized that this might be the reason she was half-Jedi, half-Yuuzhan Vong, and set out to locate Yu'shaa.
