this was a species of predatory creature, native to the glaciers of the planet Rhinnal. Many Rhinnalians considered the tenticulon a myth, since it lived below the ice-covered oceans and was rarely seen. Resembling an amorphous blob, the tenticulon had several ribbon-like arms which served a variety of uses. The tenticulon hunted fireheads for food, using specialized stinging limbs to immobilize their prey. When the arms were severed or damaged, the tenticulon could regrow them in a short time.
