this businessman was native of Alderaan. He suddenly found himself the target of a bounty, placed on his head by an Imperial Admiral who was a childhood rival. The Admiral contracted Thune to kill Carper, in an effort to avenge a squabble he had lost as a child. Thune took the job and killed Deckland in cold blood. She then cut off his head and returned it to the Admiral as proof of his death. Thune then took possession of Carper's droid, U-THR.
