Gilflyn
this Corellian man was one of many Corellians who joined the Jedi Order during the last years of the Old Republic. However, Gilflyn's moral sense of rightness was somewhat corrupted. Although he went into hiding when Emperor Palpatine beganhis Jedi Purge, Gilflyn actually believed that the balance of the Force had been restored. When the New Republic emerged from the Battle of Endor and the death of Palpatine, Gilflyn took it upon himself to restore balance to the Force. He believed that Luke Skywalker and his new Jedi Knights were once again tipping the balance of the Force to the light side, and so he set out to eliminate them and restore balance to the Force. He eventually turned to using a great deal of Sith lore in his efforts, and became enamored of the idea of being a Sith apprentice.
