this eggs of this creature were considered a culinary delicacy, during the last decades of the Old Republic. Native to Coruscant, the gartro was a small, dragon-like reptile which scavenged the industrial sections of the planet for food. Despite the glamor of eating gartro eggs, many native Coruscani believed these creatures to be noisy nuisances.
