Cargohopper 102
this TaggeCo vertical/short takeoff and landing cargo lifter measures 5.5 meters in length. They were particularly useful in spaceports which had limited landing pad surface area. Older models were equipped with a loading claw, while more modern versions used a small tractor beam generator to manipulate cargo. The Cargohopper was little more than a pilot's seat and a sled-like cargo hold, which was open to the air for easiler loading. However, both the pilot's seat and the cargo bed were uncovered, leaving them exposed to the elements.
