Qwohog
this was the name given to the unusual form of verbal communication used by the Qwohog race. It employed the use of sound waves generated in a variety of patterns to communicate words. While this form of communication worked well under water, it could not be spoken across long distances in the air. There was no written form of the Qwohog language, although Qwohog Sign Language was used to communicate across distances whenever the Qwohogs were out of the water.
