this green-skinned, alien King ruled the planet Alzar during the early years of the New order. He discovered that his son, Prince Plooz, had stowed away on a freighter and traveled to the planet Sooma, sometime before the Battle of Yavin. Unknown to both the King and his son, Plooz's actions were preceipitated by the words of General Sludd, who desired to take control of Alzar for himself.
