this agricultural world was located in the Colonies region, and supplied foodstuffs for many nearby Core and Mid Rim worlds. When the planet was first settled, the colonists worked diligently to domesticate as much of the native animal life as they could. Those creatures which could not be tamed were exterminated, especially larger predators, so that the settlers could focus on the growing of crops.
