this bounty hunter was a rival of the noted smuggler Balthazar Sim. During the height of the Galactic Civil War, Telbre discovered Sim had been involved in trying to cover up the effects of a stolen shipment of the drug platykona-zemlo-mobris, known on the street as "pleaz-mo". Telbre decided that it was time to shut down Sim's operation once and for all, and set out to bring him to justice. Sim, several years before, had been implicated in covering up a conspiracy on the planet Coruscant by causing an explosion which destroyed the evidence. The explosion also killed one of Telbre's friends, and Telbre set out to avenge the friend's death. Although he never found out what the actual conspiracy was, he continued to track down Sim. Telbre also worked on his own legitimate shipping business, which served as a front which he used to help transport slaves who escaped from Hutt Space. Telbre eventually tracked Sim to Aucellis Park on Keriba VI, using the transmission from a brooch Sim had once stolen. After a wild chase beneath the Cavern's Delight attraction, Telbre and the mercenaries he hired met up with Sim and his commander, Hoogi Grym. Grym managed to escape, leaving Sim to be captured.
