Ashpidar
this stern, Gotal female served the New Republic as the Commander of the Esfandia Long-Range Communications Base during the height of the Yuuzhan Vong invasion of the galaxy. More than twenty years earlier, Ashpidar had been living on Antar 4, where she fell in love and planned to have a family. Her mate, a commercial interpreter, died in a mining accident, and Ashpidar left Antar 4 to escape her grief. She never returned, and eventually sought employment with the New Republic.
