D-90
this was the designation of the third-generation of super battle droids designed by the Trade Federation, during the early stages of the Clone Wars. An improvement over the D-60 series, the D-90 was created to work in small teams as commando units, rather than as members of a massive infantry division. The Separatists hoped to take control of the Spaarti Creations facility on Cartao and retool it to produce the D-90 droids, but the efforts of Commander Roshton and the Jedi Master Jafer Torles thwarted the takeover attempt.
