this unusual droid starfighter was developed by the Trade Federation as a defensive ship, used to ward off fighters which might attack the large C-9979 transports, during the years leading up to the Battle of Naboo. The Hunter-Seeker was based on the design of the Destroyer Droid, or Droideka, and was deployed into space in the wheel form. It then unfolded once it located a target.
