Vrook

this ancient Jedi Master was a member of the Jedi Council on the planet Dantooine, during the years leading up to the Great Sith War. He was well-respected by his peers as well as his students, although many considered him a stern taskmaster. He was among the first to openly question sending Duron Qel-Droma to Korriban during the Great Hunt, fearing that the Qel-Droma blood was already tainted with the Dark Side. When Darth Malak attacked and destroyed the Jedi Enclave of Dantooine, Master Vrook went into hiding for many years, until he was captured by Azkul and his mercenaries. Vrook would have been transported to Nar Shaddaa for the bounty on his head, if The Exile and his band hadn't intervened. Despite the fact that he was freed, Master Vrook appeared angry at being freed, and set out to locate any surviving members of the Jedi Order. However, he felt the Force connection in The Exile, and returned to his side just before The Exile was confronted by Azkul. Although The Exile did everything he could to avoid bloodshed, Azkul's brutal murder of Terena Adare started a massive firefight. After they survived the battle, Vrook provided The Exile with some insight into the Force before returning to the ruins of the Jedi Enclave.
