this woman was married to a Balawai militia officer during the years leading up to the Clone Wars. Her husband and his partner, Lou, opted to allow Jedi Master Mace Windu to reach the droid control system located beneath the city of Pelek Baw, on Haruun Kal, so that the Jedi could defeat the Separatist fleet and put an end to the Summertime War. Gemmie was pregnant at the time, with the couple's third child, a situation which led to her husband's decision to acceded to Master Windu.
