Thanatizine
this medicine was known to destroy immature fever wasp larvae, if administered shortly after an individual was first bitten or stung. When administered properly, thanatizine placed the patient into a state of suspended animation, slowly down bodily functions to minimize the spread of poison while allowing the victim to be transported to a medical facility.
