Steng's Talons
named for the ancient Yuuzhan Vong Warmaster Steng, these sharp spikes were engineered from sguaru bones that had been sheathed with yorik coral. Up to ten of these spikes were inserted into a warrior's torso during a dangerous augmentation procedure, once a warrior had distinguished himself in combat. These spikes could be extended by a muscular contraction during hand-to-hand combat, goring an opponent in a surprise attack.
