this small rodent was native to the planet Shili, and was the favored food of the Togruta race. Because the thimiar went into strange convulsions when bitten by a Togruta, many other beings believed that the Togruta actually poisoned the thimiar. This was proven to be false; the thimiar simply experienced post-mortem muscle contractions.
