this lightsaber was similar to a standard lightsaber in most respects, but the focusing crystals and power supply of the great lightsaber could produce a blade up to 300 centimeters in length. They were very rare, even during the height of the Jedi Order, because of the amount of training required to be able to wield one effectively.
