Training Lightsaber
developed from a standard lightsaber, this weapon was created by the Jedi Order to allow very young students to begin training in the use of a standard lightsaber. Training lightsabers are nearly identical to a standard lightsaber, with the exception of its power and the possible exception of its size. Training lightsabers are meant to be used by young children with little combat experience. Thus, they had their ability to cut through materials greatly diminished in order to reduce injuries.
