this was the model number of Merr-Sonn's flame projector carbine. Note that this number is shared with the Merr-Sonn fragmentation grenade. The C-22 was used extensively in the Corporate Sector for riot control. The designs for the C-22 were licensed to Czerka, which marketed the weapon as the CZ-22 Flametongue.
