Byss
the primary planet in the binary star system of Abyss and Byss, and the homeworld of the Abyssin race. It is an arid world, with isolated pockets of fertile ground. The planet's surface is baked when it rotates in between the two stars in a strange figure-eight orbit. This requires that the Abyssin continually move to the more fertile areas. The planet's plant life has also adapted the ability to send out large taproots to collect any available water.
