Mass-nulling Clip
developed to help lighten the load of explorers and scouts, a mass-nulling clip generated a focused field of very-low gravity. This allowed large loads - primarily water and food supplies - to be carried on the back or on a belt clip, without adding additional weight to a being's load. During the early years of the New Republic, pressurization technology was coupled with mass-nulling clips, allowing a week's worth of water to be carried on a being's belt.
