this was the name of the Mos Espa salvage shop owned by the Rodian merchant Wald, during the early years of the New Republic. The original shop had been owned by the Toydarian Watto, who took Wald in as an apprentice after Anakin Skywalker left Tatooine to become a Jedi Knight. Eventually, Watto turned the entire business over to Wald.
