this man served the Empire are a Navy pilot and gunboat commander during the Galactic Civil War, and was stationed on Tatooine during the Battle of Endor. When the Empire was defeated, Captain Turmen remained on Tatooine, and eventually became the leader of the settlement created from the former Eidolon Base facility. A skilled negotiator, Turmen preferred to use words rather than blasters to get his point across. In his mid-sixties during the Yuuzhan Vong invasion of the galaxy, Turmen spent much of his time preparing the Eidolon Base settlement for possible attacks by the Sandpeople.
