Jiir
this man was part of a militant group which supported the Alliance forces on Ralltiir, shortly before the Battle of Yavin. Jiir, his younger brother Basso, and their men planned to rescue Leia Organa after she was apprehended by Lord Tion. Their plans were nearly smashed by the skilled Imperial stormtroopers protecting Tion, but Basso managed to reach Leia. However, in order to ensure Basso's success, Jiir and his men were forced to prolong their firefight with the Imperials. Jiir was shot and killed in the fight.
