Wires
this man served the Alliance aboard the Dreadnaught New Hope during the height of the Galactic Civil War. An excellent slicer, in addition to his other duties, Wires managed to make a small fortune by secretly appropriating computer time to run an online gambling casino. Chief Warrant Officer Xiong Wong, Wires's immediate superior, chose to ignore the gambling as long as the ship's combat computers were ready for action. He was approached by Wong when Jan Ors arrived on the New Hope with Kyle Katarn. Ors hoped that Wires could decipher the data disk Katarn had captured from 8t88 on Nar Shaddaa. His efforts were minimally successful, providing Ors with the basic information on the existence of the Valley of the Jedi.
