this planet was the site of a Separatist outpost, during the years leading up to the Clone Wars. The biological weapon known as swamp gas, which killed a number of Gungans on Ohma-D'un, was developed on Queyta eight months earlier. Obi-Wan Kenobi was the only surviving member of a team of five Jedi Masters dispatched to Queyta to recover the antidote for swamp gas. It was on Queyta that he encountered Asajj Ventress, one of the masterminds behind the swamp gas project. Ventress was unable to stop Kenobi's raid, but vowed to capture him eventually.
