Borosk

this planet was part of the holdings of the Imperial Remnant, during the years leading up to the Yuuzhan Vong invasion of the galaxy. It was a small planet, but was strategic in that it was on the border of the Remnant, and was therefore heavily fortified to repel any attack on the Empire. The asteroid belt that surrounded the planet provided a wealth of natural resources, and several mining operations were established on the larger planetoids. When the New Republic discovered the build-up at Borosk, it fortified its own nearby systems, in case the Empire used Borosk as the launchpoint for an invasion. This led to further arming of Borosk's defenses, making it better protected than even the Imperial capital of Bastion. In the wake of the Battle of Bastion, it was decided that the surviving Imperial forces should fall back to Borosk - rather than Yaga Minor - so that the Remnant could regroup and better launch a retaliatory strike against the Yuuzhan Vong.
