Tarturi, Berm
this man was Andara's Senator to the Old Republic, during the years following the Battle of Naboo. Senator Tarturi struggled to maintain his position as the Andaran System's Senator, facing increasingly stronger opposition from Rana Halion and the populace of Ieria. He even made an enemy in Sano Sauro, when they argued vehemently for the rights to certain profitable trade routes. It was during this time that he spent more and more time on Coruscant, leaving his son Gillam to an education at the Leadership School. When Gillam disappeared, Senator Tarturi feared that he had been kidnapped as part of a plan to force Tarturi to recognize Ieria's independence. Senator Tarturi requested the assistance of the Jedi Knights in locating his son.
