this planet was ravaged during the early stages of the Clone Wars, until Jedi Master Empatojayos Brand and his clone troopers managed to negotiate a surrender from Major Domb Treetor and his Separatist forces. The planet was known to have been a source of many minerals and ores, most of which were vital to the Confederacy of Independent Systems and the production of its droid armies.
