Rodeo Thranta
this domesticated species of thranta was bred on the planet Bespin by the acrobats and daredevils of the Air Rodeo. These thrantas were originally brought to Bespin from Alderaan many generations before, and were prized for their ability to be tamed while maintaining enough spirit and intelligence to perform complex tricks. Individual rodeo thrantas were trained to respond to high-pitched whistles, allowing their riders to turn them as needed. These thrantas usually have about ten years of performing before they are "retired" and used as mounts or pets. Because of the thrantas' inability to survive without the correct atmosphere, the Air Rodeo rarely traveled away from Bespin.
